Breaking news!!!!!
Hello everyone!
Okay,so I'll start with the big news....
I know most of you already know but I have to write you and tell you about it.
My photo shoot with FHM came out and the Nation has flipped out :-) I think it's so funny that it's getting the reaction it's getting. I realize some people won't like it and will think it wasn't a good thing but I'm really happy with it and think they did a nice job with it.
I was a bit nervous no doubt but they promised me it was going to be tasteful and classy.
I just don't like and appreciate how the papers have put some of the photos in them for all ages to see, it's for a MENS magazine. Little girls and boys don't buy it and shouldn't see it for that matter but some people are sick.
Anyway, I was honored and flattered to be asked to it and be in company with all those beautiful woman in the mag. I hope you all like it.
We are here in T.O right now rehearsing for the Holiday festival show that we'll be taping tomorrow night. The show is at 7:30pm and it's at the Ricoh Colisium.
We had so much fun doing the pro competitions this year we hope there are more next year. Dave is pretty much all healed up now, that was a tough time for him being injured.
Time always heals right?!
We are also leaving for Germany (Frankfurt)on the 17th-22nd of Dec. for a one off ice show with Daniel Weiss. We are so excited to go because we haven't been to Europe since we competed as amateurs. Then we have a nice little Christmas break for a week.
Stars is coming!!!!!
Is everyone excited or what?
We sure are, it's going to a great year with lots of great skating.
Tickets just went on sale in Canada Dec.6th so go and get them. We hope the #'s will be up this year in the US, we like skating to full arenas.
I'm sure it will be.
Well that's about all I have for now so you guys take care and Happy Holidays. Be safe and healthy.
Bye for now, see you soon at show near you ;-) !!!!!

We're Back!!!!!!Yay!
Hi guys!
As you've already heard Dave and I are ready (as much as we can for now) and have been given the o.k to go to Ice Wars on Thursday.
We are so excited that his foot is doing well it was getting a bit scary for awhile. We had another x-ray done before we came to Simsbury
(a week and a half ago) and there was no more healing done than when he origanally broke it.
He was devastated but now he's just happy that he can skate with little pain.
He got on the ice last Monday to feel it out and he eventually graduated to skating with me on Wed. but just skating no "tricks".
We started doing "tricks" on Sunday and it surprisingly went quite well, I was expecting him to be nervous and cautious but I realized I was the one who was really nervous and scared.
You know how us girls are???? He!he!he! We're always concerned and paranoid about everything and like to have everything go perfect but some times we just have to trust it and go with it. RIGHT?
(self therapy!!!!!)
Anyway, so we're leaving tomorrow for ice wars and yes they're using the whole "It'll be the FIRST time B&S and S&P comp. against eachother since the Olympics". Uhhhhhh, Oh my gosh this is soooooooooooooo HUGE!
LAUGH!
It'll be so fun, it's our 1st time doing a pro team comp. though so we have no idea how it really works except that we do 2 programs within 3 hours and we have to watch everyone and cheer them on. Yikes! We're used to doing a 6 minute warm-up and then we get off and go focus somewhere back stage.
Oh well, we have Kurt and Brian Boitano (veterans) to help us.
Gotta go now so cheer loud and send us your good vibes through the t.v.
Take care and be good!

Some Bad News :(
Hey Everyone!
We're sorry to have a "bad news" update but unfortunately we do have bad news. Dave fractured a bone in his foot on Sunday and therefore, will be missing Kurt's Gotta Skate show this wkend for sure. They say 4-6 weeks to heal but Dave sems to think he might be able to skate in Scott's special next Thursday. There are absolutely no guarantees for anything right now. He's able to walk but his foot is purple and swollen quite a bit.
Everything happens for a reason right? We're not sure WHAT it is yet but we'll know soon.
We'll be back as soon as we can we promise.
Dave didn't want to write because he's too hurt right now still and he feels aweful. Don't worry I'm pampering him, lets just say he better not get too used to me doing EVERYTHING for him!!!!
Take care and we'll keep you updated.
Bye for now,
Jamie

Just a friendly Hello !
Hey Everyone!
I had a good laugh tonight as I read a bit of what you guys talk about and I came upon a couple questionable comments. I don't take anything personally don't worry but I just had let you know that I saw it.He!he!he!
O.k, erin_m made a little technical error when she said I did a throw 2 "loop" instead of a 3 loop. Well sorry erin_m but it was a 2 "salchow" instead of a 3 salchow.
It's o.k my mom still doesn't know how to tell the difference.
This ones for paddlegurl.....
What do mean is she (that would be ME) STILL having trouble with her throw(s)? I had 72 SOI shows last year with 3 throws a night (you do the math) and I missed 7 and you're saying that's having trouble? You're crazy!Or maybe I am I'm not sure!!!Ha!ha!
I guess I am human and make mistakes sometimes I'm sorry!!!!????
You guys are all so cute the way you write about EVERYTHING, you sure don't miss a beat heh?!
FYI the costumes we were wearing for Dreams On Ice were not our actual costumes for those #'s, we're saving them.
I'm glad to hear that you like the programs though because we really feel good about them too. I guess we'll have to keep you guessing about which one is for which show and or competition.
Anyway, it's going to a very challenging next few months with rehearsals going on and trying keep our training up aswell. We have a lot of programs to train and so little time to make them great but we're busting our butts everyday so you can't say that we're having trouble!!!(JOKE )
We're leaving for Kurt's special on the 15th of Oct. and then we're away from home until the 1st of Dec. and then gone again on the 4th-22nd. We're doing a show in Germany on the 21st of Dec. in Frankfurt.
Then we're off again fo another 60 shows in the US and 12 in Canada on Jan.1st. Gotta love it!?
I think we've been home for MAYBE 5 months this year, I can't believe it. Good times though.
Well I must get to bed soon so it's bye for now and we'll see some of you soon again I'm sure. By the way, thanks to all of you who were at Dreams (Cassie and camp) it was nice of you to come and support the charity.
Take care,
Jamie

September Update !
Hi Guys!
We realize that you all like it when we write and you probabaly wish we'd do it more often but I have to tell ya I barely check my own personal email messages. I'm terrible at it because usually I'm going, going, going and then it's time for bed.
If I write late it's because I don't have to train the next day or it's a day of the weekend. So don't feel left out or rejected, I'm just not so great at this computer stuff.
Anyway, enough excuses heh!?
Well, everything is right on track for us we only have 2 more programs to choreograph, our other Stars # with Christopher Dean next week and one more for Scott Hamilton's T.V special and then we're READY!
It's been a VERY busy time trying to get 6 programs together for this year. It takes a week to choreograph and then at least a couple weeks (preferrably more) to make it look descent. We love our #'s for our comps this year and our 1 Stars # so far we couldn't be more excited about it.
We're skating to Norah Jones, Queen, K.D Lang, and of course all the t.v specials have different themes so the music varies. We are so excited about Kurt's though because Michael Bouble (don't know how to spell his last name????) is there so we get to use Come Fly With Me and I think he'll be singing it. How cool is that?
He was suppose to come to L.A last year on tour and sing it live but cnacelled last minute so we were very disappointed. Not anymore!
Hopefully you guys are coming out to the specials, it would be great to hear you.
We also did a yoga photo shoot with Roots so keeps your eyes open for that coming this fall. We are doing another photo shoot next Thursday in Montreal for I believe the winter stuff and maybe spring I'm not sure. We always find out when we get there.
We'll be at Lloyd and Isabelle's Dreams On Ice at the end of Sept. in Windsor, it's our 1st time doing it so we're pretty excited to support such a great charity.
That's about all I have for now, I hope I entertained you for a bit or maybe I totally bored you
Hope everyone is doing well and is pumped for the season to begin soon.
Bye for now.....

It's about time !
Hello!
You bet it's about time I write to you guys. You know, it's summer after all...So, I hope you guys are doing fantastic. On our part, we are great and can't wait for the season to start. We love our job, what can I say! A lot a funny things happened to us this summer. We were stuck in Toronto during the blackout. We had to sleep in the airport. They gave us some kind of foam to sleep on. We did make a couple of friends during this time. One guy was a firefighter from Barrie who was trying to get to Halifax. What a great guy! He was lucky enough to get another flight out at 8:30 the next morning. On our part, we got on a flight to Calgary(!) the next night and than our manager came from Edmonton to pick us up. So anyways, we ended up spending over 20 hours in the airport. The next day, we were on our way to Vancouver for what we call a corporate show and on our way to the Vancouver airport, we learned that Air Canada had a computer problem and that all flights were grounded or late...Fortunatly, we were able to get home with only a 2 hours delay. No need to tell you that we will avoid airports for a little while.
Jamie just got eyes surgery. It's a 20 minutes surgery that consist of shooting laser right in the middle of your eye ball so you can have a perfect vision. No skating for a week. Add to that a week vacation and that give us a well deserve 2 week break.
I think we have great programs this year. I like them anyways. We worked with Lori, Rene Roca and Gorsha Sur and we will work with Cristopher Dean in the next few weeks. As a skater, I feel extremely lucky to be able to work with these over talented people. We just hope that we can make justice to their work.
Talk to you soon

It's already almost August
Wow! Where is the time going?
Hi everyone! I'm back, long time no write for me but as usual I don't have a lot of time to sit and write a good message.
We've choreographed 1 program now and we're working on the 2nd as we speak with Rene and Gorsha. We're having fun but I tell ya those dancers do some really hard stuff. We wanted to work with them for that exact reason to learn new things and have a different look for a program. Well I think we're accomplishing that.
We are now God parents of a ship called Island Princess and we christened it in Vancouver last wkend (11th). We are very proud of our ship, it's beautiful and we hope that you can sail on it someday.
Besides all that there's nothing new to tell you, I'm very boring this time. Sorry.
I'll post again after I have some more news for you. I don't know why I say that because you guys hear and know more about what's going on than I even do, even about myself!!!!
Take care and bye for now,
Jamie

Hello everyone!
Sorry it's taken me so long to keep you updated but I really don't think we've had 5 minutes since we started back. We've had so much going on, training, speaking engagments and weddings ( NO, NOT OURS!!!!!)and now choreography. We are thinking we need about 6 or 7 new programs this year with all the t.v specials, pro comps and tour #'s. We thought we were busy last year.....it's jam packed this year for sure.
We are working with Lori Nichol, Chris Dean and Renee Roca and Gorsha Sur for our programs. We are so in love with the ideas of our show #'s we can't wait.
We are doing Wayne Gretzky's tournament this also and our's in Edmonton but that's it for those because we just don't have enough time.
We've also started on our made for t.v movie now with the writer and it's sounds pretty exciting but a ton of work. We've also met with someone for our book. We have been a bit hesitant about the book thing but we've decided to go ahead with it. We're hoping to have the book out by next summer but we really don't know too much right now as it's the beginning stages.
Thank you for message about the FHM thing I thought that was so funny
They want me to do a photo shoot in N.Y on Monday for the mag. I'm a bit nervous, I've never done a shoot like this one. It's always been about skating or related somehow to skating.
Anyway, I'm sure you're all looking forward to having all the skating events begin. It'll be here before you know it. Next thing we know we'll be on tour again and it feels like we just finished.
Take care, be good. See you all soon.

On Vacation Now!!!!!
Hi everyone!
We did it! We finished the tour the other night in Vancouver and we are now officially on vacation. Well... that is NO SKATING I mean!
We had such a great time in Canada and we'd like to thank everyone for coming out to the shows and for being so loud and enthusiastic, it made it so much fun for all of us.
I feel bad that we don't play the smaller venues in the smaller cities but I realize that it's an expence thing for the tour and they would lose money. Sorry.
Just so everyone knows we are taking a month off right now and then begin choreographing programs at the end of June and we have a show in Sun Valley on July 4th and then more choreography all summer.
We are doing 3 t.v specials in the fall/winter and possibly a pro comp.?????
We will be very busy to say the least starting in July so we need a long rest
We won't be doing the Mario Lemieux golf tournament this year but so far we are doing Wayne's tournament in Calgary.
So that's it for this time but we'll be back in awhile to let you know how our time off was. Thanks again for all the scrap books and keepsakes, we'll treasure them forever.
Take care and be well.
Jamie
P.S David says Hi and thank you too.

Ya Canada !
Hi everyone!
I have to admit that I'm still getting used the fact that "We" have a website. I know I should be writing more often but I also never think I have anything very important to tell you. Well here I go....
First of all we'd like to give a BIG thank you to all the people who came out to our show in the US to support us, we are greatly appreciative.
We had a great time touring the US and have amazing memories on and off the ice. We're very much looking forward to the next 3 or+ years.
When we got off the plane in Halifax all of us Canadians closed our eyes and took a breath. It was so great to back on home soil again after 3 1/2 months away. It's not home but it's sure feels like it.
The opening night was electric and overwhelming and the buzz all around the city was unbelievable.
I have to tell you that when I took the ice for the beginning I felt like I was on a 6 minute warmup again with all the screaming. Then when we went to do "Come Fly" it was our turn to compete and the audience was so loud that I was literally shaking in my boots!!!!! I'm not really kidding.
Steven said the tunnel was scaring to be in when we went out. ?????
We all had a great show in the end and we had an outstanding audience. Thank you Halifax!
We are very excited about touring the rest of Canada and we sure hope that all the other venues are as packed.
We're in Ottawa tomorrow and then off to Quebec City for a few days, I LOVE Quebec city. Don't we have a beautiful country?
Okay, I was a little patriotic there I'm sorry. I'm just proud.
Anyway, we wish you all a very happy and fun Easter weekend. Don't eat too much chocolate, ahhhhh what the heck eats lots you only live once!!!!!
Take care of yourselves. Until next time.....

Hello from Houston
Hi!
Wow, Stars On Ice is almost done here in the US. We are doing show number 55 tonight and than we are going to Halifax and start the Canadian tour. The cast and the crew had a great time in Texas. We played a few round of golf and we all went to play paintball. We enjoy being with the crew. Without them, there is no show. Did you know that most of the time they drive all night, get to the next building around 7:00 in the morning and start loading for the next show right away. They deserve all our respect and admiration.
This first experience on tour has been a success for Jamie and I. First, because we've had fun. This is the most important thing. We have learn a lot about professionnal skating. You have 8 programs to make a year, you are never home to practice them and you do have to skate great after a 10 hours bus ride!!! Still, it's not work for us because we are doing what we always wanted to do.
You guys are amazing. You make us feel so good night after night by showing up to our show and by showing us how much you appreciate it.
To finish, I would like to congratulate Shae-Lynn and Victor for their well deserve victory at Worlds and also our friends Patrice and Anabelle who made a huge step this year in the top 5.
Thank you again for being so good to us. You are very special.

Half way coming soon!
Hello everyone!
Hope everyone is having a great year so far, can you believe Jan. is already gone? I can't. It's flying by for us, I guess that's how it goes when you're having fun.
As of Sunday night we are half way done the US part of Stars. We have a 4 day break (all star break!!!!!he!he!he!)in Florida next week so we're all extremely excited about that. Seeing how we've been in snow or very cold weather for the last couple of weeks sun and beach will be a wondeful rest.
The shows haven't had the best attendance but all the people there are great and they seem to like it.
Chicago I believe was the best for attendance at approx. 9,000. The rest have been around 4-5,000. Where is everyone????
Maybe next year will be better.
Hey guys if you have any feedback you feel would be useful for the tour let us know please. ie. are tickets not affordable for a family or is the show lacking something?
We are not selling pics. of us at the shows because we will be selling some merchandise on our website. You'll LOVE it.
We are excited about it and it will be coming soon.
Allan has done an awesome job on the website, don't you think? Way to go Allan!
Thank you.
Gotta get on the bus for tonights show (Omaha) so take care and have a GREAT Valentines Day! There will be a show on T.V on Valentines Day that we taped in Tucson,Az.
a month ago. Check it out.
Later,
Jamie
