09.19.2009: Starting October 4th, you'll be able to watch Jamie compete on CBC Television's Battle of the Blades, alongside partner Craig Simpson. The show pairs hockey greats with some of the best Canadian female figure skaters as they compete against each other during this 7 week series. David will participate as well - as a coach. Set your DVRs - the show will air Sundays and Mondays on CBC at 8 pm (8:30 pm NT).

03.08.2009: If you're going to be in the Toronto area, drop by the Bata Shoe Museum. A special exhibit on right now until March 21, 2010 features winter sports footwear, including Jamie & David's skates worn at the 2002 Olympics.

In other news, the Royal Canadian Mint wants to know which Olympic moments you want to see featured on a coin. Jamie & David's 2002 Olympics performance is one option being considered. You can vote for your favourites until March 25th.

01.12.2009: Jamie and David are going to be inducted into the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame in Vancouver on Thursday, March 26 from 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

01.09.2009: IMG Clients Jamie Sale, David Pelletier, Jennifer Robinson, Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon join CTV's 2010 Vancouver Olympic Broadcasting Team

It was announced today by CTV that IMG clients Jamie Sale, David Pelletier Jennifer Robinson, Marie-France-Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon will be part of their skating broadcasting team at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games.

Jamie and David will be calling the exciting events of the Men's and Pairs events. They will also write for the CTV Olympic Website leading up to the games.

Jennifer Robinson will be an on air analyst for the Ladies and Dance events at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver. Dubreuil and Lauzon will be special guest analysts for the Dance events. They will report in English and in French.

02.04.2008: Jamie, David and Jesse's appearance on the TODAY show has been rescheduled for March 7th. Looking ahead, Jamie and David will also be commentating for CBC during the World Figure Skating Championships.

01.19.2008: TV Alert! For those of you that loved Jamie and David in the Olympic Ice television series during the 2006 Torino Olympics, you'll be happy to hear that they will be hosting a similar show alongside Bob Costas during the upcoming 2008 US National Championships.

Jamie, David and Jesse will also be appearing on NBC's Today Show on February 1st. They will be interviewed and will also skate on the Rockefeller Center Rink.

01.07.2008: Next week, Jamie and David will be participating in the BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships in Vancouver BC, January 16-20 at Pacific National Exhibition. No, they won't be competing for a medal in the pairs event - their amateur days are long behind them; however, they will be in the spotlight.

After waiting two years due to scheduling conflicts, they will finally be inducted into the Skate Canada Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 20th, following the Women's Free Program competition. Fans are in for an extra special treat, because Jamie and David will also be skating in the Parade of Champions. Tickets are available online at Ticketmaster and are available as Sunday only tickets ($35-40), or packaged with other days of the competition. Jesse arrived weighing seven pounds and measuring 19 inches and David reports that the entire family is healthy and very happy. To read more, view the press release.

The Canadian Museum of Civilization has a special exhibit called "Lace Up", which includes some Jamie and David memoribilia. I was mistaken in my previous closing date - the exhibition will actually be available until March 4th, 2007! 2.28.2006: The Olympics are now past us and Jamie and David now step back into their roles with Smuckers Stars On Ice! But first, we much mention Jamie and David's tremendous success their television debut in "Olympic Ice" and the NBC Olympics website. With raving reviews from the public and critics alike, "OI" was one of the pleasant surprises of the Olympics for many. Bravo to Jamie and David! I'd also like to take a moment to welcome the over 300 new members who have joined the message board since the start of the Olympics! We all appreciate your contributions :-) Be sure to stop by the journal page to view Jamie's latest entry, which came to us from Turin!

2.12.2006: With the Olympics we have seen a lot of first time visitors to this site and a lot of visitors returning for the first time since 2002. Welcome! We always enjoy new faces around here, so take the time to introduce yourself on the forum. If you haven't kept up with Jamie and David since the Salt Lake City Games - here's a bit of a summary of what you should know! :-)

Shortly after the Olympics in 2002, Jamie and David made the decision to turn professional - meaning that they no longer participate in amateur competition, and this is also why you won't see them competing at the 2006 Torino Olympics (you CAN see them as they work for NBC, especially on the USA Network's "Olympic Ice" show). But that doesn't mean they haven't been busy... quite the opposite in fact, they've probably been MORE busy than ever before!! They are currently in their fourth year of touring with Stars on Ice in the United States and Canada. If you've never seen the show before, it's worth looking into - this is professional skating at its BEST and Jamie and David sure do shine! By attending a show, you'll see Jamie and David perform two solo numbers as well as participate in 5+ group numbers! They also participate in many Disson Skating shows each fall (which all air on NBC, throughout the winter holiday season). Off the ice, Jamie and David were engaged in December of 2004 and were recently married on December 30th, 2005!

2.10.2006: The 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin, Italy official open today! Though Jamie and David won't be lacing up their skates this time around - you can catch them as they work for NBC in a program called "Olympic Ice" which will air on the USA Network at 6 p.m. ET from Feb. 10-24 and Feb. 26.

12.10.2005: World Team Challenge aired today on Canada's TSN network. Jamie and David skated to Wynonna Judd's "I Want to Know What Love Is" for the technical program and Scott Joplin's "Elite Syncopations" for the artistic program. They also sat down for an interview with Debbie Wilkes. You can see it all for yourself in the video gallery.

12.4.2005: Opening night of the 2006 Stars On Ice Tour was successfully completed in Lake Placid NY on November 26th. Jamie and David skated two wonderful programs to Scott Joplin's "Elite Syncopations" and Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter", not to mention their collaboration in many exciting group numbers. 6.14.2005: Thanks to everyone for their patience, as off season slows not only the skating news down - but our updates as well! The journal is now up to date. In other big news, Skate Canada has announced that Jamie and David will be inducted into the Skate Canada Hall of Fame!

2.24.2005 : Welcome to the redesigned Salé - Pelletier.com! You'll notice a new look all over the website, but you'll probably also notice some glitches and some pages that haven't yet been transferred over to the new style. This is normal, and over the next couple of days all the kinks should be worked out!

2.15.2005 : Thanks for everyone's patience over the past week. The server this site is hosted on was experiencing some problems causing the site to run extremely slowly. The site may continue to run slower that normal, but the problem should be completely resolved shortly.

12.21.2004 : Everything should be completely normal again now and hopefully the same problems will not reoccur!! Thanks to everyone for their patience as I spend the better part of yesterday working out the kinks!

12.20.2004 : As you may or may not have noticed, sale-pelletier.com was attacked by a worm today (like a computer virus for webpages... ick!). The main site should now be back to normal again, but I am having less success getting the forum back up, so please bare with me and have patience until I can get it figured out. Thanks!

12.07.2004 : Two new photo galleries have been added - check out pictures from Holiday Festival on Ice and Lake Placid SOI. Archives have been added to the journal - you can now read every entry since the debut of s-p.com. The wallpaper gallery is now started with a brand new s-p.com original wallpaper. The video gallery has been updated.

11.29.2004 : Opening night of SOI was a huge success. This year's tour is one you don't want to miss!! If you haven't already got tickets, trust me - do it now! And if you already have, you may want to consider a second show. It's just that good. Be prepared to be amazed, laugh and dance in your seats ;-) Reviews and photos are starting to roll in on the board, so check them out.

11.24.2004 : Don't forget to tune into CBC at 8pm tonight for the airing of CSOI, taped in Hamilton this past spring. This year's new SOI tour, Imagination, opens this Saturday in Lake Placid, NY. It's worth the trip to get that first look at the tour, not to mention to take in the beautiful scenery. Three S&P.com staff members are attending and we hope to see you there!!

10.15.2004 : Photos of skaters other than Jamie and Dave have now been included in the Brasseur & Eisler Farewell Show gallery. This weekend is a busy one for J&D - be sure to catch them on Saturday in Kurt Browning's Gotta Skate IV at Hamilton's Copps Coliseum (see related article) or on Sunday in Montreal for the second of Isabelle and Lloyd's Farewell Shows.
